“Everyone always says that Timmy’s parents neglected him, but I don’t think so. I think the series was shown through Timmy’s point of view. What kid doesn’t think that his parents are terrible when they make him eat ‘weird’ foods? What kid doesn’t think his parents don’t want him to have fun when they go on dates? I think it’s extremely over exaggerated, but I think the Turner’s ‘neglect’ of Timmy is all in his perspective of the situation.”
